RCSI Students Win Jack Flanagan Medal

The Jack Flanagan Medal in Gerontology competition pays tribute to Ireland's eminent geriatrician, Dr. Jack Flanagan, who was one of the first doctors in Ireland to specialise in contemporary geriatric medicine. Tonight (18th Sept 2013), before an audience of geriatric consultants, geriatricians, peers, and members of Dr. Flanagan's family, the RCSI team was delcared winner of the prestigious medals and bursary.  The team faced strong competition from Trinity College, University College Dublin, University of Limerick, National University of Ireland Galway and University College Cork.
