We are delighted with the response we have received to date for the Irish Hip Fracture Meeting 2017, which is taking place on the 8th November in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. If you have not yet had a chance to register for this event, please click on the link here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZT7NF73

We have attached the draft agenda for the event and we are excited to announce our keynote speaker, Dr P.J Devereaux, who is leading up the international HIP ATTACK trial. This trial evaluates the effect of hip fracture surgery within 6 hours of diagnosis, compared to the current standard of 48 hours, on mortality and other patient-important outcomes.

The Call for Abstracts has been extended until close of business on Friday 29th September. Guidance for abstract submission can be found attached. Please send any entries to ihfd@noca.ie

We look forward to seeing you on the 8th November.
