CPD certificates will be emailed to delegates in November 2014. Delegates must sign the CPD register at the registration desk on each day of the conference.
CPD Points Granted by the Irish Association for Social Workers (IASW)
In line with the IASW CPD policy, social workers attending the IGS Annual and Scientific Meeting can accrue CPD points as follows:
“Training relevant to your role as a social worker and verified by your line manager, can be included if it provides transferable knowledge and skills: one point per hour of learning time.
Note: At least 6 points of the 30 (or 3 points if part time) must be signed off by the social worker’s line manager as specifically related to the social worker’s area of practice.”

CPD Points Granted by Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)
ISCP members can attribute CPD points on a per contact hour basis so if an event is 8 hours of contact time then they can ascribe 8CPD points to that event
