Information packed event.

Excellent thought provoking conference!

Roll on Cork 2019!

Great variety of topics and very progressive as always. I always find this to be a very friendly and inclusive conference.

Very much enjoyed it, thank you.

I found this event to be really relevant with excellent programme and the interdisciplinary aspect added to its value.

I presented a poster for the first time at this conference and found it an invaluable learning experience; seeing the outstanding work of others has definitely challenged me to raise the bar of my own practice and be an agent for change.

As a trainee in geriatric medicine, the IGS is the highlight of the calendar year for me. It provides the opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals who strive to develop care for older adults. One always leaves the conference invigorated. You get to see the spread of research and service improvement that is happening countrywide, sometimes it's the smallest changes have the biggest impact and these may be transferrable to your own practice. Equally, the difficult challenges we face as a speciality are always highlighted. Sometimes when you are at the coal face of service delivery you can be disheartened or brow beaten by the enormity of the challenges facing us currently and in the immediate future. The discussions and networking that occur at the IGS remind you that we are all in this together and all are fighting similar battles to advocate for our patients.

I would recommend this meeting for all interested in older persons’ healthcare.

I would recommend this meeting for any professional involved healthcare for older persons.

I find that the standard of presentations is increasing year on year and that the breadth of topics covered reflects the variety of problems encountered in clinical practice.

The IGS annual conference is a must go to event for anyone engaged or interested in ageing and older people.

I found it to be a very relaxing and inviting event; the atmosphere balanced engaging academia

with relaxing reflection.

Excellent meeting highlighting good practice and research in a relaxed atmosphere.

IGS is one of the most valuable conference that I attend each year.

This is a very valuable resource, and important to be able to platform the innovative practice going on across the area of Gerontology and meet and learn from others.

Great opportunity to learn all about the state of affairs in gerontology and older people's care in Ireland and abroad, in a very friendly atmosphere!

It is great to meet with multidisciplinary colleagues with the same attitude to the importance of medicine for older patients as me.

I really appreciate the fact that this conference is so multidisciplinary with a very good mix of doctors, nurses and HSCPs.

The best multidisciplinary scientific conference on ageing in these isles.

The IGS is leading the way in inter-professional collaboration and its scientific meeting supports that in a very meaningful way.

The meeting was really informative. A fantastic job on building and delivering a great conference with genuine high quality learning while maintaining the enjoyable social event it has always been remembered for. Congratulations.

The quality of work going on to improve the health and well-being of older Irish citizens is very impressive. The IGS helps foster clinical and research networks to advance care of older adults and is a valuable meeting for interdisciplinary working.

An excellent opportunity to discuss multi-disciplinary research for older adults.

Extremely interesting and inspiring.

An excellent conference that gives a flavour of the wonderful work taking place in the field of medicine and nursing for the elderly.

A great learning opportunity and a vehicle to promote and address burning gerontological issues as well as to foster relationships between all clinical sites in and around Ireland.

Invaluable opportunity to meet colleagues, quality scientific sessions.

I thought that the meeting was an excellent opportunity to learn, to meet with other HCPs in a friendly environment. It was a real opportunity to recharge and re invigorate before returning to the workplace.

Excellent networking and intensely stimulating debate across all fields of gerontology.

As each event takes place it gives great hope for the future of Care for the older person in Ireland provided that government support is realistic.

Excellent meeting with a great team spirit. Essential to clinicians working/researching in Gerontology.

A conference that I look forward to every year!

The 2018 conference of the IGS was a highly stimulating and enjoyable event, with a high scientific standard and great networking opportunities.

IGS continues to be a conference of very high calibre and quality. Really enjoyed the scientific sessions this year, often hard to pick between which session to attend.

An excellent and very enjoyable conference.
