This symposium will be facilitated by IGS Health and Social Care Professions Representative Dr Mary Walsh. This year the symposium will focus on how best to help older adults who are living with common conditions that may affect everyday life. Dr Katie Robinson, Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, University of Limerick, will present current evidence and practical advice for HSCPs working with older adults with chronic pain. Dr Siobhán Laoide-Kemp, Lecturer in Audiology, University College Cork will provide an overview of hearing loss in older adults with implications for HSCP clinical practice.
