Poster size: Standard A0 in portrait orientation (width 841mm x height1189mm). Your abstract submission reference number should be clearly displayed on the upper right hand corner of your poster. Before the conference, each primary author will receive an email with details of their poster session, poster board number and location, poster size, moderation and adjudication timings, etc. Please note that your poster board number is not the same as your abstract submission reference number. Velcro will be provided onsite.
At least one of your poster's authors is required to attend the conference. All authors, including presenting authors, are expected to register as conference delegates.
Early-bird reg. is available until Friday 16th August 2019.
Poster Display Periods
To accommodate the poster display comfortably, there will be two separate Poster Periods: A & B.
Poster Period A
Posters presented during Period A may be erected from 16.00 on Thursday 26th September*. However, posters in Period A must be in situ by 10.00 on Friday 27th September.
The moderated & adjudication session for posters in Period A will take place from 11.00 to 11.30 on Friday 27th.
Period A posters must be removed by presenters from poster boards at 13.00 on Friday 27th. Any posters from this session which remain in situ at 13.15 will be removed to vacate the poster board for Poster Period B. The IGS cannot take responsibility for the return or condition of any posters that have not been removed from poster boards by the stated time. We cannot accommodate individual requests for changes of poster presentation times.
Posters are grouped by the primary category chosen by authors at time of submission. The following categories are included in Poster Period A:

*Poster presenters in Period A should be aware that delegates and guests attending the Satellite Symposium on Thursday 26th September may visit the poster exhibition area. Mr. Jim Daly TD, Minister of State at the Department of Health with responsibility for Mental Health and Older People, will attend to welcome guests to the symposium.
Poster Period B
Posters presented during Period B must be in situ by 14.00 on Friday 27th September.
The moderated and adjudication session for posters in Period B will take place from 09.00 to 09.30 on Saturday 28th.
Period B posters which remain in situ after the close of the meeting at 14.00 on Saturday 28th will be removed and disposed of. The IGS cannot take responsibility for the return or condition of any posters that have not been removed from poster boards by the required time. We cannot accommodate individual requests for changes of poster presentation times.

Moderation and Adjudication
Your moderated poster session will offer you the opportunity to present your work to the judges. You are not obliged to present your poster. However, we strongly encourage you to avail of this learning opportunity - both in the spirit of the meeting and to do justice to your hard work.
Those wishing to present their work must be at their poster board at least 5 minutes before the start of their poster session (note timing above). You will have 2 minutes to present your poster and 1 minute for questions and answers. Strict time will be kept in order to ensure flow.
