The 2017 International Summit on Ageing with an Intellectual Disability will take place on the 20th of September from 8.30am – 5.30pm at Stanley Quek Theatre in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute at Trinity College Dublin.
This one-day event, led by national and international experts in ageing and intellectual disability, presents research findings and demonstrates how data is informing evidence-based policymaking and transforming health and social care services around the world. Leading with findings from the Intellectual Disability Supplement to The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (IDS-TILDA), research translations from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States will be presented to address challenges and offer solutions to key health, wellness and social care issues for those ageing with an intellectual disability.
The event agenda provides additional details and can be downloaded here. Coffee, tea, lunch and a networking reception are provided. Applications for CPD credits have been submitted to the Royal College of Physicians Ireland and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
