This intensive study course composed of four sessions, is directed towards faculty members of departments of geriatrics and academic teachers planning a career in geriatrics or in medical gerontology. The course can also be attended by junior potential academic staff working in other fields (internal medicine, sub-specialties, biology) involving the ageing process and care of elderly people.
The programme aims to increase scientific, clinical, educational and managerial competences in medical gerontology. A certificate will be issued by the European Academy for Medicine of Ageing after the successful conclusion of the four sessions.

January 23 - 27, 2017: Principles of Geriatric Care, Blankenberge, Belgium
June 26 - 30, 2017: Evidence-Based Medicine in Geriatrics, Ávila, Spain
January 22 - 26, 2018: Cognition and Behaviour, Cannes, France
June 25 - 29, 2018: How to Provide Geriatric Care, Budapest, Hungary
COURSE FEE
Course cost: EURO 10,800.- + EURO 80.- (for diploma), paid in 2 instalments. This includes tuition, hotel accommodation and meals for the entire course (four weeks of five days).
Exceptionally, participants interested in attending only one session may be accepted. In this case, the participation fee for one session amounts to EURO 2,700.- (everything included).
Except for very serious personal or professional reasons, any cancellation prior to 2 months before the beginning of a session will be charged EURO 450.-.
Thereafter, a session fee of EURO 1,600.- will be charged.
