Dementia Care in Acute Hospitals

The Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, UCC, is hosting a conference on January 31st 2014 entitled 'Dementia Care in Acute Hospitals'. The interdisciplinary conference will host speakers from a wide range of healthcare disciplines, and from HSE management, and will focus on the most cutting edge research and practice in terms of improving dementia care in the acute setting. The conference is being opened by Minister Kathleen Lynch.

The conference will also include the official launch of the very first Irish National Audit of Dementia Care in Acute Hospitals (INAD), lead by Dr. Suzanne Timmons, Professor Des O' Neill, Dr. Sean Kennelly, and Dr. Paul Gallagher, and co-ordinated by Ms. Anna de Siun.
