Jack Flanagan Inter Varsity Medal

The Jack Flanagan Inter Varsity Medal, which is a competition for medical students in medical gerontology from Ireland’s universities, was won on 9th November 2022 by Trinity College Dublin, tutored by Dr Desmond O'Donnell.

Seven universities participated, and the standard of the presentations and discussions thereafter were very high. The IGS congratulates all of those who participated and their tutors: Dr Agnes Jonsson, Dr Jorin Bejleri (RCSI), Dr Sarah Gorey, Dr Louise Ward, Dr Daniel Kelly (UCD), Dr Des O'Donnell (TCD), Dr Lorna Kelly (UL), Dr Emma Jennings, Dr Ruth Daunt, Dr Siobhan McGettigan (UCC), Dr Jayne Lynch (Queens), Dr Kevin Kitt (UG).
